digital experiences / UX research & design study

A little clarity goes a long way.

eHome America

For someone buying a first home, a course website is one more unfamiliar part of a very big decision. This study starts with the questions that person needs answered before they can feel ready to begin.

Different lives, different needs

the case study

What was
in motion.

The February 2026 research and design proposal considers four different learner situations: a time-pressed worker, a young family, a first-generation buyer, and a homeowner seeking urgent support. These are research-informed design hypotheses, not profiles of real customers.

The decisions that shaped it.

01

Begin with real questions

Organize the experience around course acceptance, time commitment, pricing, language, and access to a person who can help.

02

Map more than one journey

Use four persona-based journeys to examine how different needs should change the content and order of the homepage.

03

Turn research into a structure

Propose six homepage components, including verification, a process timeline, visible pricing, mobile usability, and clear support routes.

What the work included.

  • Competitive and experience review
  • Four persona-based journeys
  • Homepage content and structure recommendations
  • Six proposed experience components
  • Prototype and validation plan
